Undergoing the KYC Process

Congratulations, you’ve won a tournament and want to collect your winnings! 

To collect your winnings, go to your wallet and select ‘withdraw’ in the top right portion of the app. When this occurs, you must undergo a brief one-time personal ID verification process (KYC/AML) to verify your identity. This process involves taking a selfie and uploading a picture of your ID through a third-party KYC provider. 

We will never store your ID info; this process is to ensure you pass KYC/AML requirements.

Undergoing KYC is done for security and financial management purposes and is also a requirement by our banking partners’ regulations. After you complete KYC/AML, you will receive your payout. Payout processing time will vary depending on the type of payout you select.

What is KYC?

KYC / AML refers to “know your customer” and “anti-money laundering.” 

Our banking partners require us to know that we know our customers to prevent fraud, money laundering, and other illegal activity. 

Anti-money laundering requirements are a financial regulation requirement that we, and every other company dealing with money, must comply with. 

Establishing a strong KYC / AML policy will also enable us to help you stay safe while you are running tournaments. 

Undergoing the KYC process

When undergoing KYC, you’ll be redirected to Veriff. Once your verification is complete, you’ll be diverted to MassPay and need to create an account. 

When verifying your identity, please ensure that 

• You are in a well-lit area

• Provide accurate, non-expired documentation

• Use the legal name you used on your documentation

KYC/AML only requires a one-time verification; after you have completed it the first time, you will not be required to do it again.

Note: If your KYC status doesn’t auto refresh after attempting KYC, please try restarting the app. 

Steps to creating your MassPay account

1. When you begin your verification process, you will be redirected to Veriff. 

   1. This is when you’ll need to take a picture of your document, front and back, then take a selfie so it can match your records. 

2. Then, you’ll land on the MassPay landing page for account creation. 

   1. They will ask for your date of birth to create a password. 

   2. Enter your address 

   3. Enter the provided security code that’s been sent to you

3. Once you’ve successfully created your MassPay account, you can see the funds available from your wallet to withdraw.

   1. Select the transfer option, choose the preferred currency, and finalize your withdrawal!

Once your MassPay account has been successfully set up, you will only need to sign in and follow step 3a. 

What Payouts Are Available?

Ignite Tournaments supports payouts in over 70 currencies and 15 cryptocurrencies to 175+ countries globally.

You can get paid via bank deposit, virtual card, physical debit card, and cryptocurrency. 

Cryptocurrencies that are supported include $USDC, $USDT, $BTC, $ETH, $BUSD, $AVAX, $BCH, $ADA, $DOGE, $LTC, $MATIC, $BSC, $DOT, and $SOL.

Note: You must have 10 USD in your balance to withdraw. 

Fees

There are some fees when withdrawing, so if you cannot withdraw, please confirm your wallet amount is greater than the fees. 

There is a base fee, however, there may be additional fees based on the region you’re located in.
